Crawler Analytics · Refinea

We built Crawler Analytics to give you something AI engines don’t: knowing when they read your site, and what for.

It reads your server logs, separates crawler visits by purpose, and puts the pages bots read most next to the people who arrived from them.

Why it matters

For Google you have Search Console: you know when Googlebot visits, what it reads and what it indexes. ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity give you no console at all, yet their bots visit your site.

Crawler Analytics fills that gap with the most direct data there is, your own server logs. Whoever leads SEO for a site can put AI engines in the same report as Google, with numbers verified visit by visit.

What’s inside

  • Every visit split by purpose: citation in answers, model training, indexing.
  • The pages AI bots read most, next to the people who arrived from them through GA4.
  • Every crawler verified with the method its vendor publishes, not identified by its user agent alone.
  • Full logs of every request, and CSV export to take them wherever you need.

FAQ

How are crawlers verified?

With the method each vendor publishes, not with the name the bot declares in the request. If a vendor doesn’t publish a method, the visit stays marked as not checkable.

Which bot activities does it separate?

Citation in answers, model training, and indexing.

What do I need to use it?

Your server logs. To see the people arriving from AI answers you also need GA4 connected.
